Old Master Q

I drew this fro Ben's childhood comic heroes and villains week but didn't get it in time. He's not much of a hero but he was definitely one of the earliest comics I read.

Marlowe Montage

More Marlowe Bear shenanigans.. what else does he do besides drinking, passing out from too much drinking and solving crime?

Nenette

This was a quick sketch of 'Nenette' - the oldest orangutan (40 years old!) in Paris zoo - done while James and I were watching a great little doco about her, her life and the people who visit her at the zoo (we never see the visitors, only hear them). Marlowe and the femme fatale

Marlowe Bear discovered you can't be in the private investigation business without some Trouble...

Chimp in strange planet

Only after putting in the crazy colours did I realise I forgot to give the chimp a laser gun to defend himself!  How remiss of me!

Geeta

Geeta, a nurse I did like..

Giraffa camelopardalis

Hi Ching Ye, we have so many mutual friends in the world of Animation and your story has been mentioned by several of them. I hope that your recovery is going well and that I can help to inspire your drawing in some way. I went to Taronga Zoo (in Sydney) today and forgot my sketch pad. The zoo didn't have paper to give me and before I could find a pile of napkins to sketch on, I saw this tiny sketch pad made out of Elephant dung. Lovely texture without the scent one might expect :-)

A little bird for CY

When I found this little honey-eater the day it fell out of it's nest, it had broken tail, patches of bare skin with ants all over it, and it couldn't even hold it's head up. A few days later it had a verocious appetite, and was wobbling in and out of it's 'bed'. A week later it could take small flights ot land on the floor. Now (a month later), it's flying around my room. It totally reminds me of you CY!

It's tail feathers are still crooked, and it isn't strong enough to fly outside yet, but it's a brilliant patient and is getting better in leaps and bounds :)  xx Rosey
