In the early hours of 7 December 2010, a garbage truck reversed into Ching Yee while she was on her scooter. She fractured her pelvis on both sides, broke several ribs and suffered other lesser but needless to say still painful injuries. Doctors advised recovery would involve at least six weeks in hospital lying on her back at an incline of no more than 30 degrees. Chimp in strange planet
Only after putting in the crazy colours did I realise I forgot to give the chimp a laser gun to defend himself! How remiss of me!
Makes the chimp look even more cute being helpless too! Love your sketches of the nurses too (that grumpy one way back is a great haha!). I'm not studying, had to drop out mid last year. Turns out what little academic focus I had, really depreciates over time. So now I have REALLY committed to being a struggling artist. (I'm making a business out of my Beatrix Potter style pet portraitures and paintings). How's your recovering going?
