In the early hours of 7 December 2010, a garbage truck reversed into Ching Yee while she was on her scooter. She fractured her pelvis on both sides, broke several ribs and suffered other lesser but needless to say still painful injuries. Doctors advised recovery would involve at least six weeks in hospital lying on her back at an incline of no more than 30 degrees. This page is for her friends to share pictures and comments to help put a smile on her face and inspire her to draw.

Giraffa camelopardalis
Hi Ching Ye, we have so many mutual friends in the world of Animation and your story has been mentioned by several of them. I hope that your recovery is going well and that I can help to inspire your drawing in some way. I went to Taronga Zoo (in Sydney) today and forgot my sketch pad. The zoo didn't have paper to give me and before I could find a pile of napkins to sketch on, I saw this tiny sketch pad made out of Elephant dung. Lovely texture without the scent one might expect :-)
